Welcome to the website of The Children's Center at UCP Suffolk.
The Children's Center offers a unique and positive learning environment for youngsters, of all ages, who 
present with developmental delays and disabilities. We like to think of our school as a place where children flourish and—in spite of significant physical and cognitive challenges—develop skills that will ultimately allow them to function within their community with maximum independence.
To this end, the hard-working and dedicated staff of The Children's Center continually seeks to provide meaningful educational experiences that will promote development in physical strength, communication and social competence. In recognition of these efforts, The Children's Center was again named a School of Excellence for the 2010-2011 school year by the National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET).
