School Age Program

Highly structured and supportive programming for students ages 5-21
Un-graded classes with reduced student/teacher ratios
Clinical services provided individually or in a group within the classroom, in a therapy room or in a community-based educational program
Students provided with adaptive physical education (APE) in accordance with New York State mandates
School age students participate in a creative arts program consisting of a variety of art and musical experiences
14 school age placements reserved for students who also reside in one of two UCP Suffolk’s children’s residences
Parents and guardians serve as active participants in the child’s educational planning and as resources to the school-based team
